Frequently asked questions
How reserving and collecting works, and what to bring for a colour match.
How does ordering work?
Browse the catalogue and add what you need to your collection list, then send it through. We check the stock, confirm the price with you by phone, and put it aside. You pay at the counter when you collect.
Can I pay online?
No — there is no online payment. Everything is paid for in store when you collect. Reserving online just means we have it ready and you aren't standing at the counter waiting.
Do you deliver or courier?
Not at the moment. Everything is collected from the shop at 13 Railway St, Pinetown CBD. If you need a bulk or regular delivery arrangement, phone us and we'll talk it through.
Is the price on the website what I pay?
Prices shown include VAT and are what you pay at the counter. The total on your collection list is an estimate — we confirm the final figure when we check the order, in case a size or line has changed.
Does the website show everything you stock?
No. The catalogue is a large part of what we carry but not all of it, and we're still adding lines. If you don't see something, phone or WhatsApp — there's a good chance it's on the shelf.
How does colour matching work?
Phone us or send it on WhatsApp — the paint code off the door jamb is ideal, or the make, model and year, or a photo of the panel. We confirm the match, mix it in store and hold it for collection. More on the colour matching page.
Do you supply panel shops and trade accounts?
Yes — panel beaters and spray painters are most of what we do. For regular reorders or bulk pricing, use the trade page or phone the shop on 031 709 1191.
How long will you hold my order?
Phone us if you can't make it in — we'd rather hold it than put it back. Give us a call on 031 709 1191and we'll sort it out.
What are your hours?
- Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00
- Sat 08:00–13:00
- Closed Sundays and public holidays
Can I get advice on mixing, spraying or safety?
Ask us in the shop — we'll talk it through with you in person. We deliberately don't publish mixing ratios, spraying technique or safety guidance on the website, because the right answer depends on the product and the job, and the manufacturer's own data sheet is the authority. Two-pack hardeners in particular need to be handled properly.
Still stuck?
Quickest answer is a phone call — we're at the counter during shop hours.
